K/ Madina Central College is a well reputed National school situated in Madawala Bazaar, Kandy which offers secondary education for both gender in Sri Lanka. The school was founded in 1933. Since then, the school has grown considerably, having about 3150 students and 120 faculty members. The school holds a history of more than 80 years. Mr. A.C.A Azeez and Mr. J.M. Zarook are the current principal and the vice principal respectively.
Our school offers the best secondary education which has the blend of all the fundamental facilities. Madina National School is the prominent reason for Madawala to gain reputation and popularity in the past years.
Students from far away places too have a part in Madina since the year 2008 due to its popularity and perfection.
Madina maintains close ties with their rival school Azhar college with whom they play the annual "Azhar - Madina cricket Encounter", also known as " Battle of the Maroons". But the matches have now been stopped for a while. Annual sports meet is held at the beginning of every year and the year ends with the annual prize giving. The students have achieved fame both in studies and sports.
